Lowongan Kerja S1 UNDP Indonesia : UNDP Indonesia is committed to building future leaders. Therefore, our Internship Programme provides a wide range of opportunities for students to gain insight into the work of UNDP. Every year a limited number of places for internships are available.

Students from diverse academic backgrounds may be assigned in our office, where their educational experience can be enhanced through practical work assignments.

Our staff will guide student to get experience in specialized in various professional fields and enable student to expose themselves in international environment.

UNDP Office has organised internship programme to pprovide a framework by which students from diverse academic backgrounds may be assigned to UNDP offices, where their educational experience can be enhanced through practical work assignments as well providing an opportunity to make substantive contributions to an office’s work. The current internship will provide opportunity for student to learn some aspects of human resources particularly on implementation of recruitment process and HR information system.

UNODC PROGRAMME ASSOCIATE

UNODC is a global leader in the fight against illicit drugs and international crime, including terrorism. It is a lead provider of specialized assistance to Governments for addressing the legal, criminal justice and rule of law aspects of counter-terrorism. It operates in all regions through an extensive network of field offices.

Summary of Key Functions:

Provision of substantive input for formulation and implementation of the regional CT sub-programme and its country programmes of activities
Facilitation of and participation in the delivery and conduct of the programme activities
Leadership for initiation and execution of coordination and administrative tasks for assigned segments of the CT sub-programme
Support to resource mobilization, partnership building and programme advocac
Support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing

ENV PROGRAMME ASSOCIATE FOR NRM & ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

Under the overall guidance and direct supervision of the Programme Manager for NRM & Environmental Pollution, the Programme Associate ensures effective delivery of the CO programme by entering and managing data and supporting programme implementation consistent with UNDP rules and regulations.

Summary of Key Functions:

Support to formulation of programme strategies and implementation of the Country Programme Action Plan
Support to management of the CO programme
Accounting and Administrative support to the portfolio in general and to specific projects
Support to resource mobilization including management and administration of budgets for the CO programme in general and for specific projects
Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing

TECHNICAL SPECIALIST – CLIMATE CHANGE

Climate change will be one of the largest challenges Indonesia is facing in the coming decades, both in terms of mitigation and adaptation. Indonesia is a significant emitter of greenhouse gases. Although there are considerable uncertainties about the exact amount of Indonesia’s emissions, it is undeniable that deforestation and peat land degradation are substantial and need to be reduced. Reducing emissions from these sources will not only have a global impact but will also provide opportunities to strengthen ongoing efforts to protect Indonesia’s vast biodiversity.

Summary of Key Functions:

Formulation of programmes and projects related to climate change, REDD+ and relevant financing schemes;
Creation of strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including development partners and private sector, and implementation of resource mobilization strategies on climate change and REDD+ programmes / projects;
Manage implementation of the UNDP Indonesia CO climate change portfolio.

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Climate Change Policy and Support:

Develop UNDP policy position papers and internal briefing notes on climate change for UNDP senior management.
Analyse key climate change and development related policies under discussion in Indonesia and provide strategic policy advice and guidance on climate change to CO, and the GoI.
Coordinate and prepare UNDP CO inputs and contributions for international and national meetings on Climate Change related issues.
Provide training and technical support to UNDP CO Energy & Environment programme officers and relevant counterparts to build their capacity to incorporate climate change concerns into national plans and strategies for the environment, poverty reduction and the achievement of the MDGs.

FAO PERSONAL ASSISTANT (FAO- ECTAD/ PA/06/10-118)

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a United Nation agency which provides technical assistance in Indonesia. One of our projects since 2006 provides support for the control of Avian Influenza, in cooperation with national and regional Indonesian government livestock authorities. Project activities are conducted in various locations nationwide.

Summary of key functions:

Assist the activities of The Chief Technical Adviser especially for daily activities schedule and driver management;
Prepare travel arrangements (ITA preparation, security clearance, hotel reservations, budget estimations, etc) for travels of The Chief Technical Adviser and other International Staffs as requested;
Coordinate scheduling of meetings and appointments for the Chief Technical Adviser;
Assist the Chief Technical Adviser to organize and archive information, including written and electronic project materials;
Draft routine correspondence, memoranda, and reports from oral instructions, previous correspondence or other available information sources in accordance with standard office procedures;
Maintain the document filing system both hard copy and electronic, receive/send correspondence, and direct communications to the persons concerned, maintain records of such communications, and respond to routine enquiries.
